Last weekend I took my Granny & Grandad to Hampton in London for a few days to meet & photograph my brand new baby cousin! The new addition to our family doesn’t have a name yet, so his little sister Matilda (who is two years old going on twenty years old!) calls him ‘Peanut’. Peanut is just so beautiful! I LOVE baby cuddles but when they are your cousin it feels so different. My Uncle met us all at the train station with little Peanut and we went straight to Hampton Park for a sit down (travelling with your Grandparents is exhausting!) and cuddles with my new cousin. He has the tiniest toes but the longest fingers! ( My uncle is well over 6 foot so I think this little man may not be so little when he is older!) Peanut was so sleepy all the time and just loves to be held and cuddled, which suited Granny & I perfectly!
Later in the day after an afternoon of cuddles with peanut we went to collect Matilda from her Nursery & the madness began! Matilda is such an adorable little girl with a very strong mind! From all the hilarious things she says my favourite has to be when she woke up the next morning (At 5.15am!) and I was asleep in her bedroom, she was so excited when she realised I was their so I picked her out of her cot and put her into my bed & she cuddled into me and said ‘I missed you in Yorkshire Helen.’ Children just say the best things!
